 Here's a difficult one to answer. My husband had a vasectomy three years ago. A year and a half after he went back to see the urologist to get the staples removed. (They were bothering him with pressure during sex)

We do not use any form of birth control.

I am a healthy 32 year old mother of a 12 year old boy. My periods for as long as I can remember have been very heavy. I have had to change my tampons on the hour and they are soaked. I normally get a brown discharge before and after my periods, which I know is normal. However, this month... totally different story. Lots of brown discharge, clear substance with a bit of bright red blood for two tampons, and then back to a brown discharge. My period usually lasts 6 days altogether (with the brown discharge and bloody tampons) and this time 3 days.

So here is my question... Any possibility of pregnancy or am I just losing it?

Thanks

You can have a irregular period once in a while. Just to be certain got to the local pharmacy and get a pregnancy test over the counter. They are very reliable. And in the future have you husbands sperm count checked to see if the vasectomy is still holding.

I never thought to ask him to get his sperm count done again. Thanks
