I have a seven month old kitten and he stays in my bedroom all the time. In the middle of the night he plays with my blinds on my window and it's constantly waking me up. How do I get my cat to stop going after my blinds without hurting him?

Umm... Put him in another room during the night :)

I can't put him in another room because my mom won't let him in her room, he can't go in my little brother's room because he's afraid of my cat, and there's no other room in the house that has a door and is big enough to fit him, his food, his bed, and his food/water dishes and of course him.

Get a large animal cage big enough for food, water, litter box, and bedding. Put kitty in when you go to sleep and let her out when you wake up. If you don't have one big enough, get kitty a scratching post and some extra toys. Pull the blinds all the way up when you go to sleep. If there is a light outside, hang an old blanket or something over the window so the light doesn't bother you. Also, make sure you tie up the cord so he doesn't choke on it. Make sure there are plenty of toys around. My cats tend to be pretty active at night too. If you can get the cat in another room, you will probably sleep better. Can you put his stuff in your room, but leave the door open? Hope this helps!

Take the strings from the miniblinds and roll them up to where the kitten can't reach or see them, I had the same problem.. I raised quite a few cats.. 5 to be exact. The kitten will find other things to play with being 7 months old. I have a 7 week old kitten and a 1 year old, both mischievous animals.. but they both sleep with me at night and you'll just get used to the noise they make..

I have two kitties 1 year and 7 months and they run all over me about an hour before wake up time in the morning. It's funny. Just hide the cord, cause that could be dangerous for the kitty. Also sometimes, if possible, lock the kitty out. Enjoy, they are like kids full of energy and lots of love. Also try to tire the kitty out when you get home form work so it won't be so hyped up in the middle of the night.

Get some very nasty tasting and very badly smelling spray and spray it all over the curtains

Also, depending on what kind of blinds they are, you may want to raise them a bit just to keep the cat from crawling through them and damaging them. My kitty thought nothing of jumping through the blinds to get to the other side, which wound up bending some of the slats. Not the best thing when you live in an apartment. The current blinds are kept at "just above cat height".
