Yes, it's a very strong alcohol. It's bad for your stomach, and also your liver.

OK,

Anything to excess is harmful, I just found out too much WATER! Can actually be deadly, imagine that!!

Some alcohol in the system can be beneficial,I can't remember why, something to do with cholesterol, fat reduction, stress relief, something along those lines.

Is alcohol a necessity to live a healthy lifestyle? NO

Ok I agree when it comes to anything in excess being harmful... however, vodka despite its strength is about as equally harmful as any other alcohol... all alcohol does the same thing- possible liver damage if consumed too much.

It can be if you drink too much. Moderation is the way.

Yes but drinking one shot of vodka is the same as drinking a whole can of beer, so it's more potent when you compare the same amount of vodka to some other common alcoholic drinks.

Either way, it's not good for you to drink a lot of vodka or drink it often.

I will agree and disagree, how much are you going to drink, since you are askingin addiction, I would assume it is a drinking issue.
If you drink one or two shots a week, that is one thing, if you drink one or two fifths a night that is another.

Depends on how much you drink and how often. All alcohol is harmful in excess... some say with excess it acts as a preservative :-)

Try enjoying a decent drink instead of throwing back many...
