He might be shy or nervous? Maybe you could try to make the first move?

He could not be ready for a girlfriend. He could be shy, he could have just gotten out of a bad relationship, he also could have family troubles and a girlfriend could be the last thing on his mind. If you really like him ask him out yourself.

I've been searching for these same kinds of answers all over the internet and some of them sound the same and some of them don't.it's not so bad to tell the guy your feelins.Just let him know the deal.It will give him enough strength and courage to ask you out.I'm in that very same situation.I would usually talk to my guy frind on the phone every night until it was time to get off the phone. I told him how I felt about him and even laid out hints.Eventually he got the hint but he halfway asked me out.He just asked me to be his summer girlfriend.By all his means is a friend girl and it really made me mad because he wants to move slow probably.He has kindof laid out hints of the future we'll have together.But as "Best friends".But I tend to be patient with these kinds of things and I'll just let our relationship grow.Hope I helped :)
