My house is 1422 sq ft and currently there is a 3 ton unit. This company is trying to sell me a 3.5 ton. What do you all think?

I think you better tell the company to do a complete heat gain of your house so they know exactly what you need. They need to take into account the windows doors insulation etc to figure a proper size. All houses in all areas are different when it comes to size.
