Gosh, sounds like my issue with the F350. I keep reading that we may need glow plugs, a glow plug relay or a block heater. A friend of mine said she had to keep her 99 plugged in overnight when the temps dropped and she then had no trouble starting it.

. Test the glow plugs on each cylinder.
. Synthetic engine oil.
. Block heater.
. Clean battery terminals and connections.
. Ensure both batteries are fully charged, after checking fluid levels.

Txgreasemonkey is right, too. These things and synthetic oil can all be of benefit.
