Hello,

I notice a neck rash that has developed on the right side of my neck, very itchy and swelling. I have never had this before and it will not go away. I tried cortisone cream for the itch, blistasol because I thought it was a big ringworn. Neither help. It is located right under the hairline, the top of my neck. Can you please tell me what is wrong? What is this?

Omega fatty acid or flaxseed oil is always good for rashes. A deficiency of some essential fatty acids from the diet of a person can be the reason for the appearance of rashes on the skin in many cases of the disorder in a person. The anti-inflammatory functions of the essential fatty acids as well as there excellent and important role as nutrients is the reason why, a depletion of these acids can bring about rashes,

From your description, it sounds like urticaria also known as (hives). Urticaria or hives are an outbreak which can cause swelling, itching and red bumps. It's a result of the body's adverse reaction to certain allergens such as foods, medicines or infections. If there is swelling present, I recommend that you see a dermatologist as soon as possible.
