How can I receive information regarding my credit history so I can pay off what I owe and find out who I owe money to?

By law, every consumer is entitled to one free credit report per 12 months. www.annualcreditreport.com is a good place to start. The report is free, but last I checked, you had to pay to get your score. But if your goal is just to see what's in the report and who's owed what, I'd start there. Good luck!

You can also go to freecreditreport.com to acess your credit. Before you make any payment arragements, make sure you do not have duplicate charges... for example if you went into collections, these agencies sell the old accounts to other agencies and they will put the same debt on your report causing you to have a much lower score. Once you get your credit repaired... as a side note besure to keep to you debt ratios under 30% of the full balances. Good Luck!
