I have a marley 6 foot 220volt baseboard heater.how do you wire the thermostat to it?

Get a line voltage thermostat, preferably two pole, run the line voltage to the heater through the thermostat and break both line wires and then to the heater.Check the data plate rating on the heater and in sure that the amp rating of the stat is higher then the heater. Good luck, Mike
