Hi,

I have a well maintained 95 Honda Accord wagon and everything works perfectly except for the odometer. The speedometer functions properly as do all the other gauges. This problem started after I had the transmission replaced at 190,000. When I got the vehicle back from the shop the odometer worked for about 1,000 miles and then it just stopped. Occasionally it works for 99 miles but it won't go past 99. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Items to inspect:
. Odometer/trip meter
. Printed circuit board
. Odometer connector at printed circuit board

Chances are there is a bad vehicle speed sensor or the connector has become disconnected.
Look on the transaxle housing to see if it's only disconnected: three wires - Yellow - Orange - Black
