I've been doing a lot of searching on the net for information on this kind of stuff and it's very confusing, so I figured I'd ask experts: people who may be moms themselves.

The story:
I'm not too proud of it, but when I moved back to school this year I got drunk and had sex with a good friend of mine. I'm on the pill and I remember him using condoms (although he didn't want to.. he complained about it a lot) because I made him. This was August 18, 2005--a whopping 8 months since the last time I'd had sex. Shortly after that I started dating someone and about a month and a half into that relationship I had sex with him twice (using condoms). We broke up last week so I've been stressed as hell (and all that school crap too). I have been on the birth control pill since I was 17 (now 19) and I rarely miss it, although I do sometimes and always take it as soon as I remember (which is usually just the next day).

The symptoms:
I've had my period, or so I think, for the past three months. Comes on the correct day and ends on the correct day. I remember my periods being light before, but I don't remember if they were this light. I can use maybe one to two tampons per day and don't bleed overnight much (but I remember the overnight thing from this summer, that's normal). I want to think they were this light last semester in school, but I can't remember! I do remember having skipped periods due to stress, though (when I wasn't having sex). This week I've been tired and my stomach has hurt a bit, just a dull ache. I think it's probably due to the stress, but I am extremely paranoid about this kind of stuff and I had read a random article on pregnancy and saw about the implantation bleeding. It confuses me. Is it just once? Can it be every month? I remember that I've always had discharge, but I again don't remember how much.

I'm confused as hell.

Hi,
Obviously, I am not a woman, but am a 63 yr old man, married 28 yrs.
First, any pill or contractive is not 100% quaranteed against pregnancy; even the manufacturers' state that.
Your chances of being pregnant might by slim, or whatever, but it's still a chance. Stress could also be causing it.
But, please go see a doctor. Explain all this to a Professional, and get his/her opinion. The cost shouldn't be that great, and your own "peace of mind" would be worth it.
The doctor might also suggest some things to do that will help with stress, if that's what it is.
I do sincerely wish you the best, and hope it turns out OK.
