Hello, I have the Radiant Heat where it comes from out of the ceiling. The Model # is M7 22A 125 or 250v a.c. single line break. I've been having a problem with the heat coming on in my living room for the past 2yrs. Now.. It comes on in every other room except for that one.. I don't know if I should call an electrician or I guess I'm hoping you can give me the answer to my question. I've checked the circuit breakers, and there all on.. I really don't know what to do if someone could please help me :(

Roz,

When you rotate the thermostat knob, do you hear the it click when the heat should come on?

Do you own a Volt/Ammeter? If not, you have two choices, turn off the breaker that feeds the thermostat and ceiling coils. Check the back of the thermostat to make sure the wires are connected properly.

Or even better, call a heating specialist in your area and have him look at the problem. The heating tech can work on the electrical supply for his equipment so I would hold off on the electrician until he says it's beyond his area and instructs you to call an electrician.
