Hello,
As per my post in the Hot Tub forum (https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/pools-spas-saunas/hooking-up-hot-tub-why-would-there-no-ground-148047.html), I am working on installing a spa.
I have already purchased 6 gauge THHN for the 130' run, but I'm beginning to second guess myself on whether that will be enough to handle this distance without a voltage drop. The tub itself is a Dimension One Chairman II.
Also, does the THHN need to be run in conduit inside also?
Last, do I need to run the ground the whole way, or can I use a grounding rod? Either way, does it have to be the same 6 gauge?
Thanks!
David
