Go here first and follow the directions

http://customer.honeywell.com/techlit/pdf/69-0000s/69-1800.pdf

Next go to the sticky notes in the front of this board and see if the others are listed.
I can tell you now that your original thermostat was not wired with the correct color code and you might have to trace the wires back to the furnace to tell exactly where they go.

I know that the color code is not correct but that is what I have and I was hoping that someone might be able to tell me how the 2 thermostats convert to one another... I have tried looking at funace to see where wires go and go nowhere with that. Was hoping that maybe somebody could use the terminals of the old therm and use that info to tell me how to wire up the new one.

Go to the sticky notes in the front of this board and see if the others are listed. It lists different color codes there

While at the sticky see ''Do I have a heat pump?''. The O on the old thermostat suggests you might. If you do, you may need a different thermostat if the directions do not say how to hook up a heat pump.
