So it may be too soon to worry, but last weekend the condom broke. To be on the safe side we decided to get Plan B. Wednesday should have been the day to have started my period but hasn't happened. I am usually very regular so am kind of caught off guard and worrying about the possibility of being pregnant. Will Plan B cause me to skip a period? Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Yes the closer it is taken to a mentrual period the more likely it I to cause a disruption in the cycle. It may either come a couple weeks late or you may skip it completely . When I took plan B a few months ago I experienced spotting similar to a period a week after I took it. I figured this was an indication it had worked. I then skipped the following months period (can you say scary) the following month all was normal.

I would give it a least 2-3 weeks before you start to be seriously worried about it. You did after all just dose your body with a large amount of hormones so there is bound to be some disruptions to the normal cycle.

If you skip your next period I recommend taking a pregnancy test but I wouldn't worry about it at this point. Its to early to tell one way or the other.
