Well every pregnancy is different so your body could be more used to the growth part of pregnancy for you not to have the same symptoms. Have you taking a pregnancy test? What kind of symptoms did you have for your first... I am waiting to go to the doctor Monday to see my blood tests but I have taking 2 at home tests and they were negative. BUT it was only a week and 3 days ago since we had sex so maybe the hcg is not strong enough, (that is what I have read anyways)... HELP...

There's no substitute for positive evidence, preferably a blood test taken while consulting a medical provider. Otherwise home test, if negative wait and test again, as it takes time for hormones to build up. It's a waiting game, like it or not... and not all pregnancies "feel" the same.

Yes, remember a negative is just the absence of a positive... it doesn't mean no. many people don't understand that... that is, if a test is negative it just might be that your hormone levels are too low, as you mentioned. You can be pregnant with a negative test. Most of the time, when the test is positive, you are pregnant... as long as you followed the directions correctly. Again, people will say it tested one way in the time described, but three hours later it changed... well, that's not how to read the test.

Blood tests are more sensitive... but even there, taked too soon you might need to retake...

Amber,

I know you are concerned, but remember, NOBODY can tell you the "odds"... period.

A woman may miss her period for a lot of reasons, only one of which is pregnancy. Age, physical condition, stress, diet, mental condition, etc... are all potential factors

You may not want to hear it, but absolutely not a single person here can tell you what you want to hear. If you had sex during a time when you might have been ovulating you might, or might not, be pregnant. This is why TESTS are made, marketed, and sold.

Anything else is just noise.

Period.

Being pregnant isn't a popularity poll... its not the same as "does this dress make me look skinny" or "is this hair color good for my skin"...

The facts are this...

If you are having sex you MIGHT be pregnant. You might not also.

If you missed a period or are late you MIGHT be pregnant. You might not.

The ONLY way to confirm this is through time and through a medical test. The doctor... you know... that person who went to college for four years, med school for another four, and then did residency for a few more years, while going into debt for over $100,000 of education... that person prefers NOT to use opinion for diagnosis... they like to use facts. This means pregnancy tests.

The fact is you are playing a waiting game whether you like it or not.

You can keep asking for opinions. Id suggest the psychics forum.
