How do you disable programs from running at start up on Windows XP Home. Everything I've found so far relates to enabling them.

Here is your answer: How to use MSCONFIG in Windows XP: NetSquirrel.com (http://www.netsquirrel.com/msconfig/msconfig_xp.html)
But first look in Start > Programs > Startup, remove anything you don't want there first and reboot.
