Can anyone help me with the routing on the traction drive belt on my JD GT235 riding mower. Belt broke so I never had a chance to see how it was routed.

The belt goes around three pulleys. 1 main engine pulley, may need to remove the belt to the deck first. To the transmission near the rear of the tractor. 3 the tensioner that engages the belts tightness when you release the clutch. Have someone push in and out on the clutch so you can see the pulleys travel. Put the belt on the side of the pulley that will cause it to get taught when the clutch is released.
