My husband and I don't have sex offten. Our last encounter was on oct.11,07. Well, I just found out yesterday that I am pregnant, again. My son just turned one and he was born on oct.22,06. After my son I only had one period, and never had one since, well, now I'm pregnant and don't know how far I am?? Is it possible for me to get pregnant the same day we had sex , which is on oct.11, 07, and me just now finding out yesterday? It hasn't even been a month.:confused: :confused:

How did you find out? Home test? Blood test? Missed period? Home test positives are usually real positives as long as you follow the directions. Negatives don't mean you aren't... as sometimes they cannot detect low hormone levels. So did you take a home test and it became positive?

Frequency of sex isn't a marker for conception outside of the need to have sex when ovulating. And some people build hormones up faster than others. When in doubt get a blood test.

What was the date of your last period? Yes you could have gotten pregnant of the 11th. That would have given the hormone over 2 weeks to build up in your system. You also could have become pregnant any time after your last period. If it has been a long time you will need to request an ultrasound to date your pregnancy.
