I am a writer of poetry, not story, but thought I'd give it a shot. If it doesn't work, just skip my post...

Dear Wondergirl,

If you change the paragraph format, then it's hard to keep track of where we are.

Thank you!

I'm not sure why separating one paragraph into two or combining contributions into a single paragraph confuses the storyline, but I put it back together just for you, Clough, and added my own stuff.

The continuing assignment is to read the story and add a sentence or two. I will just let it drift from here and see what we end up with.

Groaning he slowly opened one eye his vision was blurred but he could see well enough to know that he was smack dab in the middle of the "Avengers of the Night" headquarters. He heard a sound and turned toward it expecting to see Logan, the leader of the "ANTS" (as they are often known). He groaned his surprise to see a girl coming toward him with a bowl of steaming water and some towels. "oh"... she said "it's good to see you are awake, it will make this much easier."
He stared, his vision clearing, at her shining black hair and her startling blue eyes. Words failed him for the moment. "This won't take long" she said, "but it's going to be painful". "What happened?" he asked groaning as he moved his lips.

“Something is bad wrong!” Snake demanded. “They should have been here hours ago! I told you that Aidyn was no good!
“Shut up Snake, they'll be here.” Big Mike said as he eyed his next shot on the pool table.
Big mike fired the eight ball into the corner pocket with his gorilla arms, watched it slam into the hole, then tossed the cue stick on the table. He turned and stared at Snake with his hard, dark eyes. Snakes lanky frame went rigid as a chill danced up and down his spine. Big Mike stared just long enough to make Snake wonder if he could get the 25 out of his boot quick enough. Big Mike shook his head, wheeled his six foot six tank of a frame around and walked back to the bar.
Snake stood there, frozen, knowing he was playing Big Mike way too close. He knew better than to talk about Aidyn that way. After all, Big Mike didn't become the president of the Radiation Angels for being weak. Snake exhaled a deep breath, turned, and walked out the door of the club house.

But Mike was already aware of the visitors, and motioned for the others to clear out so they could have some privacy. As the woman moved past Snake, his attempt at patting her behind resulted in two broken fingers for him when she countered his move with one of her own. Knowing that she probably could have killed him, Snake smiled taking it as a sign that she wanted him alive for some reason.

I know that you are Jacob, leader of the RAYS" (as they are commonly known) "My name is Aidyn, and yes I am a member of the ANTS." Jacob's eyes widened, yet he felt no fear. Aidyn, ceased talking and worked faster to patch up Jacob for travel. Aidyn too, felt no fear of her rival, her fear was of not getting him out of ANTS headquarters before the others returned. She urged him to his feet, amid groans and pleading they made their way out the back door. Those she trusted were waiting to take them to...

The cold, night air washed over Snake as he stepped out to cool his temper and draw on a smoke. The sky was clear and the moon was bright. Bad night for what was planned. Too damn light, and the fall leaves made noise underfoot. You might as well send up a flare to tell the others you were coming. But that didn't change a thing. Snake knew what was at stake tonight, and it had him on edge. Had him tense. The cigarette kept his fingers busy until he heard the whine of a jet engine over head.

The lancejet swiveled it's braking thrusters neatly, landing smoothly just yards from where Snake leaned against the club house. Snake knew who was on the lancejet but he was frozen in surprise. The Premier of the New World Alliance stepped with practiced ease from the jet. Snake noticed he was not flanked by his usual guards. He almost didn't see the tall thin woman who glided beside him. With a voice both patronizing and commanding, the woman drew Snake's full attention, "We understand that the, Avengers of the Night," she paused to emphasize her disdain, "think they have information that will help the New World Alliance."

Snake knew that if the Avengers were allowed to present favorable information to the New World Alliance, the Rays would suffer tremedously. "Hey Mike," he yelled into the darkened headquarters.

"The Avengers of the Night claim to have Jacob Kyle,"
Big Mike forced himself not to remain calm, "The ANTS are damned liars." His heart pounded. He shouldn't have left it up to Aidyn. She wasn't ready.
The woman spoke again, "You assured us that Mr. Kyle would remain–safe–until we had conducted our tests." Big Mike blinked. Something in her tone told him he'd made a bad deal. The Premier remained eerily silent.

Jacob, a member of the nomad gang, "Radiation Angels," tore down the highway on his chrome and obsidian Harley.

This was not the first time Jacob had made this trip; however, this time speed was of the essence.

His heart thumped and sweat drenched his jacket as he rode, glancing cautiously around as he entered the worst part of the city.

"This part of the city" was the turf of one of their rival gangs, "Avengers of the Night."

"Radiation Angels" and "Avengers of the Night" had been rivals since the time of Jacob's father. The true beginning of the rivalry was known to only a few select members of both gangs. Jacob was one of those few.

Jacob decided to change direction and not ride through the Avengers turf. His phone had rung seconds before, and he was too late for his mission. Instead the mission had come to his own turf... he quickly changed direction now, fearing for the life of his friends.

As Jacob rode toward his destiny, he put aside his fears for his friends and strove to remember all that his father had taught him. The information that he could recall would mean the difference between life and death for the "Radiation Angels". Much had changed for the gang since the time of Jacob's father. Still Jacob knew that the knowledge he possessed and the skills he had been taught by his father were timeless. Jacob leaned into the wind, his mind now set on getting to his destination before any member of the rival gang noticed him.

A dog began barking and began to chase him, nipping at his left foot. He tried to swat the dog away, but it stayed with him. As he turned his head again to yell at the dog, Jacob didn't see what was looming right in front of him.

It was 7 hour later that he regained consciousness.

"I'm sorry" she said, "we must hurry, I have to move you to another location." As she worked at cleaning Jacob's wounds, she talked softly. "You've been in an accident, and you were brought here to me. I can't tell you all the details, someone else will have to do that after you're in a safer place. From what might as well of been the other side of the world, Jacob was being transported in an old beat up moving van to their next location. There was a very large man driving the van, that had dark hair and a huge scar that ran from the corner of his right eye all the way down his cheek. Another much smaller man was sitting beside him. They were both dressed in all black. "Where are we going? Why are you helping me?" Jacob pleaded as he looked into the eyes of his rescuer. Ridden with the guilt of knowing what was to come, Aidyn turned her head to look away. "I'm sorry" is all that she could say.

He hit the big fat woman with all of his wind. Since woman was huge, Jacob bounced away from her enormous tits and found himself in dust. The big fat woman smiled and whispered: "Hunny-bunny, are you in some kind of hurry?"

But Jacob had no time to answer. That dog that was chasing him had rabbies. Rabbies swarmed all over Jacob and he suffocated underneath their swarming presence.

The big fat woman picked up Jacob's bike and placed it beside numerous others that were resting in the shed. She lit a cigarette and spat on the ground: "Darn dog. I could have used that little rider for my selfish purposes ..."

The sun was setting low and the breeze started to blow.

Jacob bid the large woman adieu, as he knew his gang, his only family, were in danger. Little is known about how the name "Radiation Angels" was decided upon, but many speculate that it had something to do with the founders' love of James Daniel Ross. The "Radiation Angels" were nothing more than mercenaries now, constantly fighting for contracts that the "Avengers of the Night" would also be vying for. Jacob checked his jacket pocket again for his trusty magnum, for in this uncertain time, it always pays to be prepared. Counting the last few of his bullets as he strode along the side of the road he watched the peaceful sunset. He knew that it could be the last he'd ever see.

Somehow the story got broke up or rewritten... hopefully one of the original writters can fix it and get it back in order... I'm anxious to read it in its intirety

Before Jacob could respond the van came to a halt. The men in black piled out first, without a word. Jacob followed Aidyn in the wake of the two black coats. They approached a large, poorly lit building. Aidyn's companions worked secretively at a small, unassuming door, then swept inside. As Jacob entered beside Aidyn his eyes just caught the sign "Central City Hospital–Morgue Entrance." Inside Jacob's heart stopped. Before him were three gurnies, each draped with the body of a person he would have died for. "It's the Premier," Aidyn said catching Jacob's hand as he moved toward the lifeless bodies of his friends. "He's planning on using a new chemical on "dissidents," once he gets it figured out." With firm hands, Aidyn forced Jacob to look at her. "He's after you next. Your father was the only one who knew how to fight this chemical–-Jacob, we need your help."
