I just got my car back from the garage. I had the drivers window repaired. It wouldn't go up or down. Now my heater is blowing only cold air. The thermostat is less than a year old. I was wondering if having the window repaired could have caused a problem with the heat? Could it possibly be a fuse? It's a 1994 bmw 325I.

Yes, it could be a fuse.
Is the engine reaching operating temperature? If it is, that would rule out the t-stat.
The problem may be in the Climate Control module or it could be in the Control Head/Switch assembly. Not likely cause by work done on any window system.

You were right... I checked the fuses, replaced the heater control fuse, and presto! Plenty of warm & hot air... I needed someone to agree with my diagnoses. I'm proud of myself for making an educated guess, and fixing it myself... Not bad for a 46 year old, female Interior Designer... Have a great day! :D

It was the fuse for the heater control. I changed it and it works great... I really appreciate your good advice! Have a great day:) :)
