I cracked my lower dental retainer and don't know how I did it, however my question is, is their anyway I can have it repaired since it is still in tack? My orthrodontist wants to charge me $280 to replace it.

Hi Phil,

You might be able to seal the crack with some clear nail polish. I'm afraid that that won't add any strength to your retainer. How old is the retainer? If it isn't that old I'd think the orthodontist should replace it for you, there could have been a flaw with it right from the lab.
