We have experienced over the last three years that our water throughout thehous shuts completely down every now and then. During this past summer it did it only occasionally now it is doing it more frequently. Today alone it shut down completely twice within 15 minutes. It shuts off throughout the entire house, not just in one location.
We have had a plumber out as well as a well specialist and both said it wasn't anything to do with their fields.
The pump to our well was tested and came out fine.
We were told there may be a small pebble that gets stuck and needs to be pushed out but when the water shuts off up to 10 times a day we find that hard to digest.
When the water is one, the pressure is fine.
You can hear the system kick back in when it comes on. It has been taking longer to kick back on recently. Normally it is about 20 seconds but now it's up to 1 minute or longer.
Please help!

When you completely lose water in the house, what does the pressure gauge read at the tank? If gauge reads 0, then you know the problem is with the well. You then need to determine if the switch is failing to turn the pump on. This can be checked by seeing if the contacts are closed on the switch. That much can be a start for you. Check back.
