Hello ,

Yesterday, without warning, no water is coming out of any of our hot water taps - be they upstairs or downstairs. No water of any kind - neither hot nor cold. Water is still coming out of cold water taps, and our central heating works OK.

There hasn't been any cold spells to freeze any pipes, and I have to admit to being confused by this.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Gordon

What are you using to heat the water? A water heater, Gas or electric? Or a combi-boiler? Tom

Am using a gas water heater.

neither hot nor cold. Water is still coming out of cold water taps,Please explain!
If none of the hot water faucets work the that puts the focus on the water heater. If this is a newer heater with heat trap nipples in the hot and cold openings then I would rewplace the nipples with conventional hookups. Regards, Tom

Hi,

I meant that no water at all is coming out of the hot taps - not even any cold water.

Thanks for your help

If your water heater has heat trap nipples that's the first place I would start to check. Good luck, Tom
