Hello:

I have all sorts of software to REMOVE these tracking cookies. I do it ALL the time. But, it seems that the very second I enter cyberspace, they latch on. Is there anything that stops the little buggers from attaching themselves?

And, what is it that they track anyway, and who do they report it to? The CIA??

Tracking cookies? Not a big concern at all. I don't bother with them. They are for ad networks to follow where else you've been within their network of sites.

You can 'block' tracking cookies using NoScript with Firefox. NoScript stops all scripts from running on every page, until you allow each once. It is a great resource, even just to see how many ad sites are attached to a site you visit. I have been using it for about a year and I have very few tracking cookies when I look for them. The link to the Firefox add-on page for NoScript is https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/722
