Yeah I'm serious. I'm not trying to annoy anyone by it though, it's just me and my mate were talking last night and it came up, I'm just wondering if its women in general or just the ones I know?

Wow 'thank-you' so much for the compliment. Guys have different minds than us girls... let's just say - girls minds are WAY more superior :) We have our moments... only problem is when we do it's with our girlfriends.

Woman are really funny.

Funny Jokes for men, and women with a sense of humor

What's the difference between a woman having her period and a terrorist?
A: You can negotiate with a terrorist.

What do they call a woman who works as hard as a man? Answer: "Lazy."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Two guys and a girl were sitting at a bar talking about their lives.
The one guy said, "I'm a YUPPIE. You know, Young Urban Professional."
The second guy responded, "I'm a DINK. You know, Double Income No Kids."
They then asked the woman, "What are you?"
She replied: "I'm a WIFE. You know, Wash, Iron, Fu#k, Etc."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Why is it called PMS? -- Because "Mad Cow Disease" was already taken

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Every time I walk into a singles bar I can hear Mom's wise words: "Don't pick that up, you don't know where it's been."

“rotfol” - Not Knowing And Trusting Simultaneously! LOL... Don't look for funny! Look for loyalty! Sometimes when a girl/woman is not being funny, you really have to wait. Funny will inherit them if "you" are funny eventually they will be funny. It's a lot like love... If she likes the T.V show "HOUSE" Eventually I will like the TV show "HOUSE". Then we are both watching HOUSE together and she can make fun of the desperate plot, and we can laugh and giggle together.

Maybe--just maybe!--It's YOUR sense of humor.

Mine is a little twisted, and I don't always find funny what other people do, but I'll be laughing at stuff other people look at me crazy for. I'm way past caring what people think of me for this--but I was lucky enough to stumble across a guy that got the joke one time.

Keep looking. Funny is in the eye of the beholder.

This is an extremely popular question among comedians. Most successful stand up comics are men. The successful female comedians also tend to be pretty manly. I have met or seen a few girls who make me laugh out loud, but I think that men are usually funnier.

I think it's because a manly arrogant type of personality allows the joke to be carried to full potential. Most men can naturally pull it off, but it takes a unique woman. Roseanne and Lampanelli both have this confident b*tch thing about them that makes them just hilarious. Other female comedians tend to look really nervous and rely on the joke and a cute smile to pull their weight.

I know some chicks who are really funny.
One chick I know has her hilarious vague moments, which just make us all crack up (shes blonde, but I think she just acts it for attention)
The funny guys I know tend to be either
Intelligent funnies
Crude funnies
Or "im doing something really stupid" funnies
The funny chicks I know generally are
Sarcastic funnies
Silly cute funnies
Vague blonde moment funnies
Greg! How can you insult the plot on house? Best show eva!
Hehe, just kidding, house is awesome, love the characters, and house can be pretty funny sometimes
Cacked myself laughing when he said "welcome to tribal council" with a row of bunsen burners in front of him :)

There is a difference between being funny and being a performer, though. I do believe that men have more confidence and/or bravado that makes them more successful than their female counterparts in most cases.

I guess I am just going from my own experiences. When at a restaurant with friends and there is a 50/50 mix of male and female, we have a good time, but when I am at lunch out with all girls, we laugh our collective butts off almost the entire time. I think also you have to have a little life experience under your belt to be able to see the humor in things.

I think many men enjoy blunt-in-your face humour.

Women I think are more subtle in their humour, hence women with other women enjoy a lot of jokes whereas a man in their midst may not even find anything funny in the conversation.
