I had my hair stripped this past Saturday and would like to dye it this evening (Wednesday) with a natural light brown colour... Can I do this?

While I was sitting in the Salon, I told my hairdresser that the Bleach (or whatever it was) was burning my scalp! I now have tiny blisters on the top of my head!

I really don't like the colour that she made my hair, it is that "white" blonde and everyone is staring at me the whole time... I really don't want to walk around for the next 2 weeks with my hair this colour, so if I dye my hair tonight, after what my hair went through 4 days ago, will my hair fall out? I can live with it being damaged, I don't mind having to treat my hair and condition or even cut a bit off etc... I just don't want it to fall out! :)

Please help!! I am so embarrassed walking around with this hair!! :(

It's possible that your hair may be damaged or it's possible that you could lose your hair if you dye it again right away.
Sounds like you had an allergic reaction to the bleach so I would suggest letting it heal before you put anything else on your head.

How long do you suggest leaving it for? I want to die when I walk through a Mall and all the men stare at me like I am a piece of meat...

Let the blisters heal at least, and don't go back to that salon. If you're feeling bad about it, try putting it up and wearing a hat in public until the blisters heal and you can color it again.

I know it's lame, one time I got a terrible haircut and all I could do was wait several weeks until it grew out and didn't look awful.

Thanks :) I have been wearing it up, it does look better when it is tied up... I will definitely not be going back to that Salon! I can't believe the money that I dished out and what the result is... It looks like I did it myself :(

The bleaching process has damaged your hair and burned your scalp. Your stylist may have used a volume peroxide developer that was too strong, or left the bleach on your too long. Do not color your hair if you have blisters on your scalp. You should always check with doctor if you have a scalp injury.

If your hair is over-processed or damaged, you should do a deep conditioning treatment twice a week until your hair is in a healthy state. Sweetie, I suggest that you wait for your scalp to heal before applying a chemical solution.
