My husband or his son's mother doesn't have custody of their child. The grandparent's do.And when they get mad at my husband they holler that they are going to file child abandonment charges on him. He has no current order for child support and he's paid off all his back child support. He see's him all the time until they get mad and then they don't let him see his son.His son is 11 years old. He buys him what ever they ask him to buy for his son. Please help!! Oh by the way we live in Georgia... Thanks

If he's not got custody and has paid all his child support and has visitation regularly (when he can) I see no grounds for legally filing charges against him for child abandonment, he didn't leave them somewhere dangerous or anything, and he provides what he is required. Sounds like the grandparents are just out of control and ridiculous to me.

Why do the GPs have custody? Has he ever thought of refiling for custody?

There is no grounds for abandonment here.
