I won't retell you my life's odyssey and will keep it short and sweet.
I'm 18, I'm at uni for computer engineering, 1st yr. The idea of working with circuit boards, and software (including damned videogames) had a major effect on my... choice of a major (bad pun I know). Overall I find uni okay, except for I hate a few subjects (chemistry and one of the physics courses). Chemistry I will never need, but the physics I might, problem is I don't have the will power to do the work. I'm behind on a lot of stuff, tried to catch up, but its like draining the ocean with a spoon. Im not even sure if I gave up already or Im still holding on... what's your ideas? How can I increase my will power and be able to concentrate? Now I disliek the subjects which I found interesting earler (calculus, etc... ) just because Im so behind. Ur words of wisdom are appreciated.

How badly do you want the degree? Either you make a promise to yourself to get through the class - be that in this semester, or in an other semester, or you give up your goal because of a couple of the classes you have take over your 3-4 years suck.

I often say "D for degree". I don't think it matters if you graduate first in your class or twenty-first. What matter is that you get that piece of paper, and then start to pursue what you really love.
