:confused: when you put in a quote for new construction cleaning... do you quote the rough and the final clean together or separate, and how about the windows, and the garage..? please help . Thanks angie

You quote what you want to earn for the job. For that type of work, I would suggest charging by the hour and giving an estimate to the customer based upon the time that you think that it will take to complete the job and also what you want to make per hour.

If the rough cleaning is to occur after say, general construction and before finishing construction is done, then I would quote them separately. Some areas may need to be cleaned well after the general construction in order for the finishing construction to occur.

General construction might be such things as cutting parts and assembling those which need to be fastened together, putting down floors, tiles and/or carpet. Finishing construction might be such things as decorating, like painting and wallpapering, applying fixtures that require electricity in order for them to operate.
