My hand seems to be asleep every time I wake up... sometimes its my whole forearm... its not just the numb and tingly feeling... it really hurts... I try to put it straight down to my side so the blood flow will go back to my hand but it doesn't always help... this will last usually half of my day... can you help me?

Mmmmm, well I had that problem but I am diabetic who was undermedicated for a short time until I found a really good doctor who suggested an aspirin a day with my meds, an 8l mg ASA to act a blood thinner. I also have mild arthritis in my hands and used to wake up with the same problems as you. Lately, in the last few months, haven't had that problem.
You need to see a doctor, have a bone density test, you could have carpal but that is extreme and my doctor said I had it but have had no further symptoms. So go figure. It is a mindset and as long as you let it happen it is going to happen. Ijust learned to go asleep with my arms in a certain position so it wouldn't bother me on waking up.
Just make up your mind this isn't going to ruin your sleep time and try the 8lmg aspirin to thin your blood. It is a daily low dose for anyone and will not disturb your bowels.
