I rented an apartment from a realestate agent in fl . They told me the landlord didn't live in the country. I found out later on that the landlord was a school teacher at my children's school and is in prison for child pornography .If I new this I would have never rented this place . And my children are being harasses in they neighborhood for this.Do I have the right to break the lease for this reason

Given that your landlord is where he belongs and I fervently he never gets out, what does that have anything to do with the apartment?

Are you trying to break the lease? If they are trying to break the lease, without penalty to you and you don't want to be there anymore, why not just say thank you, take your refunded money and leave?

Why stay were you don't want to be? What have you not stated?
