Hi, I am installing a tub surround and have a window to go around. I am wondering how to install the casings around it. I have a PVC window and the jambs have been cut flush to the surround. I bought plastic casings to try and minimize moisture damage but have no clue what adhesive to use to adhere them to the wall. I was assuming silicon but that doesn't stick to the shiny surround very well. Do I use tub surround adhesive or contact cement? Any help would be appreciated.

Id like to see a pic of this, if you can avoid having a window I would, you just asking for rotten wood at some point,
As for the trim id need to see what it looks like to best tell you what to do.
Do you have to cut the surround to make this window visible? If so I wouldn't, in fact id paint the glass black from the inside and install the surround over the window. From the outside it will just look like a dark room

A little late for that. I have already got the window and surround in. Just trying to attach the trim. I have a couple pictures I will post after church. My cameras batteries went dead. I thought about getting rid of the window but everything is new in there and it looks pretty nice. I sure hope it doesn't cause big problems but I think most of those are caused by a lack of maintenance.

Here are two pictures, the first is of the molding profile, the second is the window with the surround trimmed to fit. I am assuming this stuff is glued on with tubsurround adhesive but I want to be sure.
