Was driving my accord down the road at 55mph when it just shut down like somebody turned off the key. Coasted to a stop, waited 5 min. the car started right up. Back on the road a mile down at same speed the same thing happens. Pulled over and again waited a few minutes, can started and idled fine. Called a tow. What could this be

Be sure to check for codes. Also, run the K-Test on the ECM at a number of different times, since you may have intermittent ECM failure. If the ECM consistently passes the K-Test, replacing the main relay, Ignition Control Module (ICM), and coil will likely solve the problem and restore "like new" reliability and performance. These are all problematic components on Hondas.
