I have a sharp pain in my right shoulder and rib cage but it does not hurt until I either lay down on my right side or on my back... or when I take a deep breath, cough , sneeze ,or yawn.. but it is a very painful thing... I have had a chest cold for about 3 weeks and I just can't seem to get rid of it so I am always coughing and my chest is feelling very tight... what could these pains be coming from... should I seek a doctors help... thank you and I am looking forward to your answer

Yes, you need to be seen by a doctor. It may be possible that you have right-sided pneumonia among many other ailments.

My 9 yr old son has 40 % lung capacity and osa , but for the last several weeks he has been having pain on his leftside , his dr's aren't giving me no answers on anything . I tok him to the er and they said a pulled muscle but it shouldn't be giving him that much pain . Can anyone help me please . A woried mother
