I have a long distance relationship going on with someone in another state. (Or potential relationship) for one year.
He tells me he cares about me and thinks about me more than I realize.
He is right in the middle of a child custody issue and will soon go to court. I know he is really busy and really stressed out, he says he needs to be there emotionally for his kids right now, and I understand that.
But why doesn't he call me more often? He doesn't always return calls, but will call after a few weeks and talk for a few hours.
I asked if he wanted to break off all contact because we haven't been able to get together in a long time. He said no call me and email me.
But why doesn't he put in the effort that I am?
Is it a man thing? Or is he really just trying to distance himself from me? Kind of like he doesn't want to loose me, but can't do anything about it right now?
Confused! Anyone know why men don't seem to need as much contact as women do?
