I'm studying for my help desk certification. For anyone out there.. how long after receiving your certification and sending out resumes did you start getting interviews? Just curious...

In IT experience counts for more than certs.

kimberjonz, congrats on finding the rep button, shame you have no idea how to use it.
True while this is my opinion it is also very true in the IT world.
I have a some certs, but the first thing an employer looks for is experience.
After all anyone can go out and pay for the courses and exam, doesn't mean you have practical understanding of what you are certified in.
