I am a divorced mother of three who has been living with my boyfriend for almost four years.. my ex-husband has remarried and they want to take me to court for custody of my children. I have heard that I could be considered an unfit mother because I am unmarried living with a man.. Is that true? I live in Georgia and don't know the laws for those kinds of things. My children are all under the age of ten. There is no other reason for me to be seen unfit, We live in a new house in a nice neighborhood and the girls are well taken care of.

I don't think that could possibly be true... he has to find GOOD reason why you are an unfit parent.

There are many other things that they have to prove to call you an unfit mother. Have the kids been residing with you primarily for the last four years also?
