OK now.. she's 16 and I'm 23, I know we're not supposed to have anything in common , and you can't think of anything that I would be interested in other than her physical attraction.. true but not entirely, she's very smart and mature, doesn't matter, I know.. I just want to know if it is OK in Maryland if we only hang out ? We're not having sex, we kiss once in awhile.. that is it.. and we're planning to wait for her to turn 18, But can't we hang out at least? I want to know if we can go out to dinner and movies without thinking I might get arrested for it?
OK my questions exactly are...
1.. can I get arrested for hanging out with a 16 yr old girl ?

2... what can her parents do if they're mad, we're not going out like dating but if we go out once in awhile and if her parents get piss, would I b in trouble?

3.. I read other ppl's comments and question.. most of the cases similar to mine, u guys tell them to wait till the minor turns 18.. how exactly ? Wait as in like not seeing her at all until she turns 18 or not to hv sex until 18?

4.. Someone told me that if I was 19 then I could date a 16 with no problem, is that true ? 3 yrs difference is OK ?

5... I'm willing to wait.. so how am I supposed to wait ? Do I actually hv to stop seeing her until she turn 18 ?

6... if we go out and lets say I get pulled over by a police for speeding, and police suspected that she's a minor.. would I b in trouble just like that ? Or it's OK?

Answer me with numbers if you could.. and I want answers fast, this is my life I'm dealing with here, n don't tell me you don't understand, I don't understand either.. it just happened.. u can't choose who you like..!

The law currently states "that if someone over the age of 18 has sex with a minor she/he has to be 16 in order to give legal consent for sexual intercourse."

But you can date her and not get into troubl;e I mean.. you could be 50 and go on a date it might look weird but you can hang out with her as long as your not havig esex. a

And waiting until your 18 as in "not seeing her is bull ok"
U can see her just don't have sex or just don't date her Don't HAVE SEX UNTIL UR MARRIED JUST RUN THAT THROUGH UR BRAIN, If this was in SAUDIA ARABIA AND U HAD SEX> U Wouldn't HAVE A LIFE BE LUCky. Just don't do it OK
