My daughter washed a load of jeans that had a bottle of nail polish in the pocket! Now the nail polish is all over the dryer and her jeans. Can I safely clean this with non-acetone polish remover? Any other suggestions. Thanks!

Trying to get it out of the jeans will be tough. Unless they are an expensive brand, it may be just as well to pitch them or save for the worst scuff wear. You might do better leave what is in the dryer unless it is in sticky globs. Once baked dry in the dryer, it shouldn't come of on things any more than it does dried on the nails.

Thanks Labman. Actually we tried acetone... took it out of the dryer with no problem, took it out of the jeans with much work! It was all the jeans she owns so couldn't just pitch them, although there were two pair we couldn't save. It took a long time to clean because you aren't supposed to smell the vapors... and it's pretty strong... but it worked well. Thanks again!
