I was trap by a girl that said she could never have kids, I just want to know how I can sign off my rights.

That is quite a statement JL5. You are absolutely sure she is pregnant? Or, that is the impression I am getting. Maybe you will know better next time. As for signing off your rights, who wants the baby ? You and she should sit down and talk about this and absolutely decide what is to be done; or visit your parish priest for whatever denomination either of you belong too.

You both made this baby, you both decide what is to be done.

More info is needed here for a good answer.

In general why, since it does not stop child support payments, only stops you from having any rights with the child.
But you will need an attorney and file a motion in court to terminate your rights.

Trapped?

Didn't wear a rubber, hmm? Sounds like you stepped into that trap all on your own.

Welcome to adulthood.

Oh--and signing away your rights? Go right ahead. You'll still pay child support unless the child is adopted by a step parent.

Oh I was trapped - that goes along with the Oh I was framed. You were there, you contributed, you had fun, and now comes the consequences. You can terminate your rights but that WILL NOT terminate your financial responsibility to the child. Meaning child support.

Bottomline is you can't. If you are the father then you share the responsibility.
