My washing machine does not fill up w/ water but it still does the spin cycle. Any ideas what is going on?

First be sure that your supply lines are both open and pressurized with water. There are several switches and valves that need to function to fill the tub. Do you have a test meter and average handyman skills?

No, I unfortuntale don't have any handy man skills or a meter. But I can usually figue things out quit well. But thanks for tip and I will try that.

Shut off your supply lines and disconnect them. Direct them into a tub and open the valves. If they flush with water the problem is in the machine but check for brass screens in the inlets to be sure they aren't clogged with debris.

Also may be the water valve but need a tester to check
