Me and my husband are currently trying to conceive our 2nd child.
My period is 5 days late but two days ago I started wiping brown blood, very little amounts. Today's it's a bit more pinky color. I have very mild cramping from time to time.
Im constantly on the toilet weeing, its like every 10 minutes.
I took a HPT this afternoon and got the faintest line possible. Am I imagining the line or not. Im so confused right now, I'm very emotional also please give an answer.
Thanks in advance gem xx

Well if you really saw a line... a positive is a positive no matter how faint the line.
You levels of HcG double every 2 days. So you could wait 2 days and take another HPT... use you FIRST urine in the morning, it holds the most concentrated amount of HcG if you are pregnant.
Good luck!

A line is a line no matter how faint. I would retake the test in a few more days using your first morning urine and make sure to read the test within the time it says on the box. If you wait too long then sometimes a positive line will come up, however because it is past the time the box says to read the test it would be considered inconclusive.
As far as the brown spotting. I spotted when I was about 6 or 7 weeks along. I freaked out and called my doctor. She said spotting is normal in your first trimester. As long as there is not intense cramping or a bright red blood flow you should be okay. But you can never be too careful. If this is something that worries you call your doctor and make an appointment. When it comes to your body and your baby you can never be too careful.
Oh, and congrats! To me it sounds like you are pregnant.

That has happened to me but like bekah876 said a line is a line no matter what... I bet you are prgo... but wait a day or two... and take one again... I hope everything works out in your favor... good luck :)

Well I know I should have waited but I did another and really couldn't see anything.
Hopefully those days of spottin was implantation and just have to wait it out.
Thanks for all the replies

A line is a line - weather its faint or not - I think your safe to assume you are pregnant, but to be sure I think a visit to your GP would be wise.
Best of luck!

Gem, are you pregnant?
I wasn't pregnant at the time no, the tests I was using was giving me a lot of false positives.
Iam actually pregnant now 16 weeks. :)

Gem, congrats!
What brand of tests were you using last year? Did you also have pregnancy symptoms during that time?
I am late for my period, but have not had any blood... just lots of clear discharge. The day my period should have started, I had a white lotiony discharge and that's been about it. I've been having stymptoms for the past 3 months, but my last 2 periods were not regular (they were short and ended with a brownish fluid.) I don't know what to think. I got a faint positive yesterday after negatives for the past 2 months. I don't know if I from months ago or just got pregnant. We were not trying, but we recently stopped using protection since I might be anyway.

Thanks di,
I was using poundland quickstep tests. This time I tested using first response.
I didn't have any symptoms till I was at least 6 weeks, but like you had a lot of clear cm, and still having. With the faint test you have done it does sound like you are pregnant. Perhaps only recently which is why you've had negatives up until now, wait a few more days then test. Hope you get the answer your looking for. Let me know :)
