How do I get this taken care of even knowing that there is a violation of probation but the state of GA does not want me at all. Can this be dismissed? I have 1 1/2 years left on this from a 5 year probation sentence for a felony.

When you say they don't want you?
Are you in another state and when you are stopped they will not hold you ?
That does not mean they don't want you, they just don't want to pay to have you bought but will leave the warrant open till you get close enough for them.
The only way to clear this up would be to appear in their court to the court about the violation

At one time earlier a few years back I had a violation in TN for GA and they came to get me. Well In TN now and they don't want me after serving for another charge in TN that was dropped a few years back. I have moved up to IL to stay with my parents and the police here ran a check for me that showed a warrant from GA but that they were not going to do anything and didn't even want me at all. I am trying to put my life back in order and not have to worry about past times haunting me and wanted to know if I can get this taken care of by just calling the probation office down there or having an attorney look into it. Most of all I would like to do less that would not cost much more money since already paying out from the past. I am a seminary student and have served in the ministry for a few years, plus now working on my law degree. So as you see I would rather take care of it now. Let me know what your thought's would be on this and if any help from others. Thanks!
