Dogbane , (Plectranthus Orantus, this is one type), grows in open areas in the Northern half of the world, Northern United States and Southern Canada, in open moist areas like near streams and ditches. It was originally from East Africa and is the one plant that for sure no dopg likes to be around. It's a perennial and will grow well in sunny well drained/frost free areas.
