Hi ,

I am using McAfee 8.0i antivirus for my Windows 2000 professional.
My PC configuration is as follows :
INTEL P3 733MHz.
128 MB RAM
20 GB HDD

Initially antivirus was running fine I used to update It mannuallly by downloading superdats
From McAfee site.I used to update it every Friday. But oneday after running the superdatt (Patch) the antivirus got disabled automatically.I enabled it by right clicking the virusscan icon ,But again automatically it gets disabled.

Now I cannot scan the PC as I try giving scan it tells that "your virus definintions are older or the file is corrupted please reinstall "

I reinstalled and updated the superdatts again I faced the same problem.

I got a suggestion from my friend it is due to virus SO I formatted the PC repartitioned the drive then Installed Windows 2000 and McAfee 8.0i but after updating same problem repeats.
I tried auto update also but it is not updating at all.

So I am frustrated... I am thankful if sumbody helps me to solve the problem.

Thanks in Advance as I hope that the problem get solved.
