My mom was looking in our shed and found one of my brothers books from high school.
"The Freedom Writes Diary"
I started reading it and it appears that this book, you could call it a sequel to "Freedom Writers" I just wanted to know if my assumption was true, If it really is the 'sequel' of freedom writers.
Thanks!

Freedom Writers is the term used to describe the students in Erin Gruwell class. They took the name in honor to the FreedomRiders of the Civil Rights Movement in the South.
If you read the description on Amazon about the book you can see the history of the Freedom Writers project.

There is also a Freedom Writers Foundation, as you can read about on the following site:

Yeah. I looked on Wikipedia. Thanks for the help. For some reason I thought that there were two books because the title had "diary" in it. Thanks! And I would read the book. Its really good!
