I am currently 21 years old. When I was 18 I applied for a Capital One credit card. The card has helped my credit a lot until recently I noticed that Capital One does not report your actual credit limit. If you have $1300 on your credit card they report that $1300 is your credit limit as well. Even if your actual credit limit is $2500. Capital One makes it look like your card is Maxed out at all times. So today I canceled the card. I pulled my credit the other day and Capital One did report that my card was at a $0 balance however they reported my credit limit as $0. Do you actually think this is pulling down my credit score? Is it going to hurt me that I did cancel this card? I have excellent credit at the moment but I still don't won't anything weighing it down. I have had the card for 3 years. I have outstanding payment history with them. I have never missed a payment and I have always paid the card ontime.

I don't see this affecting your credit.

But do you think it was pulling my credit score down since they weren't reporting my actual credit limit?

Not really. The score is based more on your payment history.
