The water for my home has developed a smell. This is well water. I have had the well for 25 years and it just started to have this odor. I replaced the hot water heater about 2 years ago. Does anyone know a possible source or solution.

Is the smell just in the hot water or both hot and cold? What kind of water heater are you using?

It is stronger in the hot water. It is a electric hot water heater.
