I heard Mustard can boost your metabolism but I doubt it can?
I love mustard as it is, but is this just another crazy food myth?

Absolutely not! There are certain spices and foods that are considered thermogenic foods,
They raise metabolism. They trigger a thermodynamic burn that can last up to 5 hours after eating, which speeds up metabolism, melts calories and helps prevent new fat from forming. Mustard, tabasco or chili sauce even 3/5 of a tsp. can shoot up your metabolism up to 25% in the next three hours, so if your exercising or even just doing some walking after that, you can burn an extra 45 calories in the next three hours. Other good spices for the same effect are cayenne peppers, which can stimulate your metabolism by 20%, salsa raises metabolism 15-20%. Hot peppers as little as 3 grams of chilies to a meal can shoot metabolism up to 25%. This is true, no myth!! I've done a lot of studies on this subject.

Really? Hahahahah I'm eating more mustard xD
My metabolism is fast as it is but wow who would have known.
No wonder why when I was on some diet, one meal had 1 oz of mustard in it. Haha.
